This build image is ONLY for virtualised environments! It is for running a virtual OpenELEC appliance – do not try loading this onto physical hardware – it won’t work!!

    Why there is no VMDK image ?

      Unfortunately Virtual builds have been depreciated and no longer supports.

      OpeneELEC has dropped support for Virtual builds due to ongoing issues with the video driver and lack of support/resources to maintain this build which is only used by a very small subset of users.

      I have an idea for offering an alternative, but this likely won’t happen for 3-6 months.
