    hi guys,

this img doesn’t work in my ESXi. i get no main screen when i boot it up. console just stays black.
img 3.2.4 does work fine in my ESXi.
maybe you can fix this in the next release…

There is problems with the updated drivers in the recent virtual builds. This is something that is being looked at.

Would this be the error you’re talking about?

    [4120017.764] (II) LoadModule: “modesetting”
[4120017.765] (WW) Warning, couldn’t open module modesetting
    [4120017.765] (II) UnloadModule: “modesetting”
    [4120017.765] (II) Unloading modesetting
[4120017.765] (EE) Failed to load module “modesetting” (module does not exist, 0)

Also, does anyone know of a when/where a last working/good image would be?

    • admin

I’ve been really busy and haven’t had a huge amount of time to step through the older builds to confirm this. I think the last Gotham based build that worked was possibly around about the start of December. The 3.2.4 Frodo based image works fine.
