New OpenELEC-Generic r16865-geb0a7a6 Release Image
The Generic image is a “catch-all” build containing more drivers than any other image. As of OpenELEC version 4.0, a number of of other builds are now being rolled into the Generic image. The Generic build will now be used for most devices (Fusion, Ion, Intel, Generic). If you have a device that is not covered by the other images (ATV, RPi, Virtual, etc…) or you are going to install OpenELEC onto a laptop or desktop computer this is probably the best image to use.

Fixed for this build – links were still pointing at wrong locations
New builds should point to the correct location. Let me know if you have any other issues.

I’m not at home at the moment so can’t check – I’ll check tonight.
Although, its probably just as quick for you to download and try it.
Good job! Most features seem to work well on my HTPC (MSI, MS-B023 with processor AMD E2 Vision) but I can’t run SSH commands like “ir-keytable” or “irw” to remap my remote. Might this be related to the included XBMC Gotham release or to Openelec 4.0 build?
I think there may be an addon that adds this, possibly in the unofficial addon repo. Might be worth a check?
I can’t seem to find any addon. The mentioned SSH commands for ir setup works from scratch in Openelec 3.2.4. Therefore I’m confused since they don’t work anymore. I just get “Couldn’t find any node at /sys/class/rc/rc*” from system when I run “ir-keytable”. I follow this guide: http://wiki.openelec.tv/index.php?title=Guide_to_add_your_own_remote.
These builds are based on OpenELEC 4.0-development branch. It is quite possible things have changed and that article is outdated. It might be worth checking their forum to see if there is similar posts.
I can’t seem to get Dolby Digital audio through HDMI with this release. There isn’t even a settings for this under System > Auido output. Does anyone else have this issue?
Are you sure you are looking in the correct place / have enabled advanced options in the settings menu? In XBMC Gotham we they have completely reworked a lot of the settings menu’s and a lot of options have been moved to different menus that you need to enable. See the following:

I downloaded this for my NUC Haswell but I have a problem with the new subtitle addon.
I activated the opensubtitles.org plugin and I can open this plugin from the subtitle menu. But when I’ve opened it, I can’t seem the browse from the available subtitles.
I press the down button to choose a subtitle but nothing happens, does anyone else recognize this?
I don’t use the subtitles addon, so can’t really offer much support. As you know subtitle support has been reworked significantly for Gotham and could be the cause of your problem. You would be better opening a thread / search on the xbmc community forums.
have a strange fail on my system !
I installed OpenELEC-Generic r16865-geb0a7a6 64x
i have an imon 310 display !
When i turn on the openelec driver for imon nothing changed the display don’t turn on. So i installed the xbmc LCDProc then the display turned on:)
But!!! I can’t turn it off when the system turned down! There always stand thank you for using OpenElec in the display.
Normaly i think like i made it before to fix it. I copied the file /etc/LCDd.conf to the folder where i can mad it (/storage/.config/LCDd.conf)
But when system turns on the display not work whit both files! When i delete the file in (/storage/.config/LCDd.conf) the display worked again after restart.
In the past i only have to mod the file and quote out the text like this ” ” ???
Why it doesn’t go?
also there is an option in the xvmc LCDProc add-on to set its turn down display when system goes out! I activated it but nothing changed after 2 reboots! there still i the display thank you for using OpenElec !
What file do i have to modify?
can someone help?
Sorry that i dont use LCDProc so can’t offer much help. You will get better support for issues like this if you create a post on the main OpenELEC / XBMC community forums site.
