As mentioned in some of our earlier news updates, the sites popularity has been growing significantly over the past few months. We’ve seen our visitors go from a few hundred a week to 5000+ a week – our our current rate it won’t be long until we hit 10k visitors a week.
With the surge in popularity we’ve also seen requests for us to support more build projects and to produce our builds faster – at the moment it can take us over a day to build all of our supported builds. With this in mind we have been looking for some sponsors to help the project.
FAPVPS has generously offered to help us and has provided us with not one but two KVM based VPS servers for using as build nodes.
They are dual-core 2.6GHz based vps’s with 1GB of RAM and 25GB of disk space. These will make great build nodes and are a great start to helping us reduce our build times and support more build projects.
